Let's dig a little deeper to dissect Sencha Green Tea. Sencha comes from the Camellia Sinensis plant just like every other tea leave. However, what makes Sencha Green Tea special and set apart is its oxidation process. Sencha comes from leaves that are grown under sunlight then steamed. This process prevents oxidation which in turn aides in retaining the young tea leaves quality. The outcome is, an excellent source of nutrients and health benefits when consumed. Sencha Green Tea may potentially combat neurodegenerative diseases, viral infections and a slew of other ailments. Sencha green tea leaves are dark green, the taste is mild, not bitter nor over powering and can be enjoyed hot or cold.
